Pennies for our Playground
Students are being asked to collect pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and even dollars for a playground! Our goal is to give every child, in the Monarch Elementary community, the opportunity to be a part of building our school playground. We want everyone to make their mark on our new school! Participate as a family, team-up with friends, or get your entire neighborhood involved. Students can either simply collect coins (or dollars) from around the house or plan a lemonade stand, bake sale, etc. Our hope is the students will get excited and have fun with this challenge!
We are kicking off the new school year with a Box Top contest. The top two students inthe school who bring in the most BoxTops will each receive a $25 gift card to the place of their choice. The contest will end on Friday, October 12. Please make sureyourBox Tops are cut on the dotted line and are not expired. Using a snack size Ziploc bag, place ten Box Tops in each bag. If you have multiple bags, place all the snacksizebags in a larger Ziploc bag. Don’t forget to include your child’s name and teacher’s name on the bag. Friends of Monarch
When you give to the Friends of Monarch fund, 100% of this money stays at Monarch Elementary School and is spent in the current school year to benefit our students. This year the money raised has been designated to go to classrooms, curriculum and technology needs. Make a donation
